Deliverance from the Demonic! (Part 2)

When one of my friends was being demonically attacked, I gave her a prayer to say aloud using the principles of deliverance we learned in Part 1. Then, I told her to say this aloud many times until the demon left her alone. She did, and it left her. This is not a “formula”; this is knowing what the weapons of our warfare are.
Pay attention to what distracts, or tries to distract, when studying God’s Word. These
distractions are planned by an enemy who knows how powerful God’s Word is in our lives.
Demons get rewarded for accomplishing evil. Their ultimate goal is to take over a body, or territory, for influence. Not succeeding, they get beat up! Then, they’ll pick on non-Christians, or those weak in the faith, to avoid being beaten.
The demonic are territorial, they fight each other for realms of influence. The only weapon we have is the Sword of the Spirit, which is God’s Word. Devils don’t want us to know the God behind His Word, hence – distractions!
In Colossians 1:13, believers in Colosse were beginning to allow Jewish traditions to creep into their pure Christian faith. “He (Jesus) has rescued us completely from the tyrannical rule of darkness and has translated us into the Kingdom realm of His beloved Son” (TPT). Straying from pure Christianity is heading for darkness!
There are two kingdoms; darkness and Light (Jesus, God’s beloved Son). Jesus Christ is a King with a Kingdom. Have we completely given our lives over to King Jesus, allowing Him to rule and reign? Are we following His lead by listening to what Holy Spirit is guiding us to do? Have other priorities gotten in the way of our first Love? Is Jesus preeminent in our lives?
If we’re in Christ, we’re more than conquerors! We’ve got authority over our enemy by
exercising faith, taking out our Sword of the Spirit, and allowing God access to our lives.
“You must continually bring healing to lepers and to those who are sick and make it your habit to break off the demonic presence from people and raise the dead back to life. Freely you have received the power of the Kingdom, so freely release it to others” Matthew 10:8 (TPT).
Let’s make knowing Jesus, following Holy Spirit, and practicing God’s Word, our New Year’s resolution, while kicking the devil to the curb!
