“Integrity” (Holman’s Bible Dictionary) is “the state of being complete or undivided” and includes: Righteousness (Psalm 7:8), Uprightness (Psalm 25:21), Without wavering (Psalm 26:1), Blameless (Psalm 101:2).

God’s Word is true. How do we know? Reading it, learning from it, applying and practicing it, the Word grows, producing fruit and eventually a harvest.

Mark 4, Matthew 13 and Luke 8, contain parables taught by Jesus. Parables or stories are told to convey a greater truth. Why does Jesus teach in parables? To separate those who dig deeper, from those who don’t. God’s Kingdom is open to those who do.

God’s goodness is revealed when we study the Word. The goodness of God leads people to repentance, being forgiven, salvation, and entering the Kingdom.

Unwilling to dig deeper? God’s Kingdom realm is closed, you cannot see it or perceive it. There’s no revelation of the goodness of God bringing you to repentance so, you cannot receive forgiveness of sin.

Mark 4:26 – 29 (TPT) Jesus says; “God’s kingdom realm is like someone spreading seed on the ground. He goes to bed and gets up, day after day and the seed sprouts and grows tall, though he knows not how. All by itself it sprouts and the soil produces a crop; first the green stem, then the head on the stalk and then the fully developed grain in the head. Then, when the grain is ripe, he immediately puts the sickle to the grain, because harvest time has come.”

This is how the Word works in a person’s life. Study the Word, let it saturate, change attitudes, experiences and perceptions. Did you notice Jesus said; “the soil produces a crop”? In other words, good soil produces good crops.

Previously in Mark 4, the soil is a person’s heart. Hearts were made for the Word of God. Take the Word, make it a seed and plant it in your heart. Doing that brings change.

There are steps or stages for growth; “First the green stem, then the head on the stalk and then the fully developed grain in the head.” Understand that receiving from God comes in steps and stages. Eventually, there will come a time of fruitfulness, maturity and harvest.

First, just start! Then comes hope, faith and results. There are always steps to victory. Take the Word, mix it with faith, believe the promises. God has provided everything through Jesus. Everything it takes to succeed in life is in seed form in the Word.

"And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons in the power of My name. They will speak in tongues. They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous, and they will lay hands on the sick and heal them."
